We had hoped to have all of the images from the project available to you online after the event. Unfortunately, we were only able to record a few hours of images for some mysterious reason. Maybe playa, maybe heat, maybe the gods...not sure. The lucky time period during the event was late Thursday afternoon. What is You x 360 all about?
YOU x 360 docments the incredible people, outfits, and wearable art of Burning Man. The installation provides the opportunity for individuals or groups of people to photograph themselves in a 360 degree format. The format provides photographic views from all directions made possible through a human- and computer-powered system of lights, cameras, computer interface, physical structure, and rotating platform. Participants walk away not only with a printed record of themselves but all the materials to make an animated flipbook to share with others. Its all about you, hope, and a vision to take into the future.
